Earlier this year, our partner and project driver, Rodney Frost from IOS, met with Jane Walker from the Upskills Foundation in an aim to help educate children from Tondo, Manila, young people that do not have the means to pay for their education.
The project’s objective was to start young people on a road of learning, development and growth, so they can accomplish great things for themselves and their families into the future.
At the beginning of October, a lease was secured for the centre with the first class taking place on 4 October with approximately 50 students participating in nutrition and health education.
It is so heartwarming to be able to assist these young people and be one of the reasons that they, and their families have smiles on their faces.
All of us continue to work towards further success in this encouraging project with the goal of turning these young people’s lives around.
Kindest regards,
Frank Ganis
